Big White Travel
The Big White Ski Resort is 56 km from Kelowna in the center of the British Columbia Okanagan Valley. Big White is famous for its stable and large snow cover, and excellent weather conditions for skiing, so it is considered one of the most snowy and popular resorts in the world.
Big White has two large ski areas, united by one ski pass: Big White and Silver Star Mountain Resort, which makes it possible to ride on 220 tracks equipped with 16 modern lifts.

The resort takes its beginning in 1963. Then it was a small town.
Today it is one of the most popular ski resorts in Canada, awarded more than 19 different awards.
In 2004, the resort became the winner of the Golden Ski Awards in the category “Best Family Resort”.

For the future, it is planned to add more lifts and prepare new routes, open a golf club here, make a special park for mountain biking, build a water park and improve the infrastructure of the city.
The resort has a lot of cozy restaurants, cafes and pubs. As a rule, a homely family atmosphere reigns here, but a company of young people will find where to have fun.
The town also has amazing shops with sweets.
Dog sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, visiting a huge tubing park are very popular among the attractions.

Big White is a great family resort. The resort has been recognized by Ski Canada Magazine as the “Best Kids Center”.
Special schools are open for the youngest skiers, where in addition to standard programs for teaching skiing and snowboarding, there is even a camp for children and teenagers on freeride.
Near the resort there are parks of different states, where you can go for a walk and get acquainted with the Canadian nature.
Big White: Visa and Border
Citizens of Ukraine require a visa to enter and temporary stay in Canada.
Application process: you can apply for a temporary visa at the Canadian Embassy in Ukraine any day from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 16:00, or by sending the appropriate documents by post or commercial courier, a receipt for payment for considering the application, and a paid envelope for sending back documents.
